Wellington horse rider injured after fall

A woman was seriously injured Thursday after falling from a horse during a practice run in Wellington, according to Jennifer Wood at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
The incident happened in a practice ring shortly after 11 a.m. in the show grounds of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
The victim was taken via Trauma Hawk as a precautionary measure to a nearby hospital and was conscious during the flight.
