WELLINGTON, Fla. - More than a dozen fire crews were dispatched to a Wellington home Monday morning after a house caught fire.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue found smoke coming from a front door and vent above the garage at 12631 White Coral Drive.
They discovered the fire originated in the back bedroom.
Fire crews found two small dogs and rescued them. They were not seriously hurt.
The homeowners were not injured.
It's not clear what started the fire.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain Albert Borroto, RN, EMT-P, the roof partially collapsed but no one was hurt from falling debris.
