WELLINGTON, Fla. -- A Wellington Landings Middle School band teacher is currently under investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

According to our news partners at the Palm Beach Post, Christopher Martindale , 44, has been reassigned to a non-school job.

He will be in that position as the investigation continues.

The Sheriff's Office hasn't indicated what the investigation is about.

The school district had not said when Martindale was removed from his position at Wellington Landings.

Martindale has been the band teacher at Wellington Landings for several years.
