PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - An accused burglar from Loxahatchee faced a judge Monday morning.

John Long is suspected of breaking into three Wellington homes and stealing orange juice.

The judge ordered the 19-year-old held in jail until he undergoes a psychological evaluation.

Court documents say Long broke into the homes Sunday night while residents were inside. The only things he stole were orange juice and a flashlight.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office conducted an intense search. ultimately, K9s tracked down Long.

"He did some ecstasy and PCP and hasn't been right since. He's having delusions of grandeur and other issues," said his father Vincent Long.

After he was arrested, investigators said Long admitted what he had done.
