PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Three hot air balloons made emergency landings in Palm Beach County Sunday morning. One of the balloons landed near Southern Boulevard and Pike Road, and the other balloon landed at the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue main headquarters in the 400 block of Pike Road, says Captain Albert Borroto with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
A third balloon landed in the backyard of a home in the 7100 block of Pioneer Road in suburban West Palm Beach.
The homeowner claims he heard the balloon's passengers yelling for help, so he and his kids ran over to offer their assistance while the passenger deflated the balloon.
According to Borroto, nobody was injured in any of the landings.
