Three Palm Beach county zip codes remain in the top ten in south Florida for a high risk of storm surge loss.
A recent study by CoreLogic named Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter as the three locations.
The study predicts that if Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade counties were struck by a category 5 hurricane, the surge would damage more than 200,000 homes, valuing more over 100 billion dollars in damage.
The surge has potential to damage more than 4 million homes nationwide.
Florida tops the state ranking with 1.5 million properties at risk with an estimated damage of 386 billion dollars.
