SURBURBAN LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A Honda SUV struck a 12-year-old boy on a bicycle Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened at 4562 Lake Worth Road in an IHOP/Dunkin Donuts parking lot.

A witness says the boy was riding his bike through the lot as a Honda CRV  was making a turn and collided with the youngster.

Witnesses say the front and back tires ran over the boy.

The boy was alert, and told everyone he "hurt all over." He had wounds to his face.

The driver said he didn't have time to stop.

Officials with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say the boy sustained bruised lungs and some abrasions, but was in stable condition Wednesday night.
