WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - While reports from the Department of Homeland Security say that a "specific, credible but unconfirmed" threat from al-Qaeda is under investigated , South Florida residents are reacting.

"Yeah, you should take into consideration it happened one time, it could happen again," said Jimmy Harring, who is skeptical of the threat.

Harring believes our security forces should be looking in many areas.

"Sometimes you can overload where you think it's going to be and should put some protection right here where you reside, you know what I mean? Like I said, I don't think it's gonna happen," said Harring.

On Facebook, viewers have also been responding with many viewpoints. Chris Walker wrote, "They had to see this coming."

Some are sharing thoughts and prayers online, others are writing that they don't believe U.S. citizens should be fearful of a threat.

Alex Del Russo said on Facebook he believes it's "...better to be safe than sorry."
