Six people suffer minor injuries after car they were in rolls into canal

Six people were taken to a hospital Sunday afternoon after the vehicle they were in rolled over into a canal at Southern Boulevard and Hatton Highway, said Capt. Alberto Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

They suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lakeside Medical Center, Borroto said.

He said the six passengers were out of the vehicle when rescue crews arrived.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m.
