PALM BEACH, Fla. - Four people were pulled from the water behind the Four Seasons Palm Beach Monday afternoon.
The hotel is located at 2800 South Ocean Boulevard.
The swimmers, all described as males, were caught in a rip current about 200 yards from shore. Their ages and names have not yet been released.
Witnesses heard screams and initially thought it was just horseplay. When the screaming didn't stop, they realized it was something serious.
Two of the swimmers were transported to JFK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The other swimmers did not need hospital treatment.
According to the Palm Beach Daily News crews were looking for a fourth swimmer, but that person wasn't in trouble.
Lifeguards, paramedics and Palm Beach police were all on the scene.
This story will be updated when more information is available.
