GREENACRES, Fla. - A Royal Palm Beach man has been arrested and charged with stealing more than $15,000 in jewelry from an elderly victim, police said today.

Benjamin Castiglione, 28, was charged with burglary and grand theft after police said he took the jewelry from a residence in the 100 block of Lake Pine Circle on July 15.

Castiglione, a plumber, had previously done repair work at the victim's residence, a Greenacres Department of Public Safety news release said.

Detectives obtained a confession and located several pieces of the stolen jewelry.

There may be other victims, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Nicole Rhoads at (561) 642-2136.
