PALM BEACH SHORES, Fla. - Rough waves helped beach a 36-foot sailboat Tuesday.

It washed up on Palm Beach Shores.

Owner Bill Wilkinson said his engine died in the roiling waters.

Wilkinson is originally from Portland, Maine. He says he's retired and was living on his boat in Fort Pierce.

He said he was on his way to Lake Worth when he was blown off course.

Wilkinson said he has been working on his sailboat 'Delight' for the past 5 months and it took a beating.

YouReporter Yari submitted a photo of the boat as well as an interview with Wilkinson which you can watch here. bitly link: http://bit.ly/KoTbwx
