A Bahamian man is under arrest, suspected of trying to smuggle $1.2 million in cash from Palm Beach County to the Bahamas.

Homeland Security Investigation agents said that they watched 31-year-old Rohan Spicer loading items from his SUV to his boat on February 27th. They say on a customs form he declared that he was transporting household goods and speakers.

They stopped him about 6 miles off the Lake Worth Inlet and say they found $20,000 in "undeclared" money.

After a search agents, with the help of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, say they found approximately $1.2 million in cash.

They say it was packaged in $50 thousand bundles hidden in stereo speakers, luggage and within merchandise.

A bond hearing for Spicer is set for Monday.
