RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - A 17-year-old male was shot in the 2700 block of Avenue E in Riviera Beach Monday night, according to Rose Anne Brown, spokeswoman for Rivera Beach.

The teen was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.

He has not been identified.

The incident happened at approximately 9:13 p.m.

Investigators think the victim had an altercation with another person and was shot as he tried to leave.

Police are looking for the gunman.
