Shooting investigation in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Riviera Beach police say they have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old girl.
She was shot while a crowd watched a fight in the 1200 block of West 28th Street in Riviera Beach Tuesday.
The injured girl later collapsed in the Hilltop Baptist Church parking lot. The victim is in serious, but stable condition.
Police say they have arrested a 16 year-old boy for the shooting.
Police think the suspected shooter is the brother of one of the boys involved in the fight.
The unidentified juvenile has been charged with one count of attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, delinquent in possession of firearm, discharging a firearm In public, and attempted second degree murder with a firearm.
The teen is now at the Juvenile Assessment Center.
