RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Two teenage boys are dead following a shooting at a "Sweet Sixteen" party at Newcomb Hall at the Riviera Beach Marina.
The shooting happened around 11:30 Saturday night.
According to city spokesperson Rose Anne Brown, more than one person opened fired at party goers Saturday night. Aside from the two killed, six others were also shot but suffered non-life threatening wounds according to Brown.
Police haven't indicated if the shooters were guests at the party.
According to Brown, you must get approved to host parties or events at Newcomb Hall, and you must provide security.
Once police get more information on the people behind the shooting, they say they will host a news conference to release the details.
Police say there were guests at the party who left when the gunfire erupted. Detectives are asking those people to come forward with any information they may have on the deadly shooting.
