RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- A robbery in West Palm Beach led to a police pursuit that ended in Riviera Beach early Thursday morning, according to investigators at the scene.
The chase reportedly started when a woman, who was robbed at gunpoint, called the police and provided a description of the suspect's vehicle, investigators said.
West Palm Beach police followed the suspect's car to Avenue N and 33rd Street, where as many as two suspects bailed out of the vehicle and ran away. Investigators said at least one suspect was armed with a rifle.
Two men were detained for questioning and released. It is not confirmed if these men were in the vehicle or bystanders.
