RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- Riviera Beach police say they are following up quite a few leads following a birthday party shooting Saturday night in which two teens were killed and six others were injured.

Police said more than 100 people had gathered inside Newcomb Hall to celebrate a "Sweet 16" party when one or more people opened fire.

Police say they do have suspects but are not releasing any details.

The party hosts had hired an off duty officer for the event.

The victims who survived remained in the hospital on Sunday and were recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

No memorials have been planned for the victims.

Mayor Thomas Masters says he is planning a Town Hall meeting to address youth violence and compiling a commission on the topic.

Another birthday party is scheduled to Newcomb Hall Saturday night. It's not clear if it will take place as planned.
