RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Riviera Beach police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a 37-year-old mother and her four minor children who were reported missing by a friend Sunday afternoon.

Takela Wilson and her children ages 5, 7, 10 and 11 were last seen late Saturday evening when Wilson left her home to pick up medication at a local pharmacy, said Rose Anne Brown, city spokeswoman.

Wilson was driving a 2003 Chevy Trail Blazer with Florida Tag 745-PIL.

Brown said the woman’s friend said he was concerned for her safety because of her state of mind concerning recent domestic problems. The friend also said that it was highly unusual for Wilson to be away from home for an extended period of time.

Anyone with information regarding Wilson is asked to contact Riviera Beach Police at 561-845-4123 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS
