RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will demolish the former USA Insurance building on Broadway Thursday afternoon.
A brand new park is expected to be built in the area, which sits on the corner of Blue Heron Boulevard.
Agency members are working to make other improvements to the Broadway Corridor.
Leaders said they're enhancing the streets, adding new signs and lights, restoring old buildings and putting in new benches. This is all apart of a plan to revamp the area, which is the gateway to Singer Island.
The demolition party kicks off at 4:30 p.m., where city leaders will offer free ice cream.
