Victim in fatal Riviera Beach structure fire identified

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - A man killed in an early morning structure fire in Riviera Beach Friday has been identified.

56-year-old Anthony E. Scott of Riviera Beach was transported to a local emergency room and later pronounced dead after a structure fire at his apartment.

Riviera Beach Fire Rescue was called to the scene at 117 West 37th Street in a rear separate apartment around 1:30 a.m.

His cause of death is being determined by an autopsy. The State Fire Marshal is assisting in the investigation.
