Police were dispatched to a school bus fight this morning that injured one student and prompted the arrest of another, Palm Beach County School District spokesman Nat Harrington said.

Riviera Beach and school district police were called sometime before 7 a.m. to the area of Avenue F and West 20th Street where a school bus had pulled to a stop.

One student suffered an injury to his face and nose and was thought to be taken to a local hospital, Harrington said. Another student was arrested for battery on a police officer, he said.

The bus was headed to Dwyer High School. Further details are expected later today.
