RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Two men suspected of breaking into a Singer Island home Thursday morning were arrested after a day-long, multi-agency search, Riviera Beach police spokesperson Rose Anne Brown said.
Keavin Kelly, 20, and Nicholas Lewis, 18, were taken into custody around 9 p.m. in a shopping plaza on the northeast corner of U.S. 1 and PGA Boulevard, Brown said.
A third suspect, 22-year-old Frantz Actidor, was arrested earlier in the afternoon, she said.
The north end of Singer Island was closed off most of the day while authorities searched for two burglary suspects.
According to police, around 10:30 a.m. a homeowner saw a suspicious car in the driveway of a home where a family was out of town. He heard glass breaking and called police. When police arrived, multiple suspects took off in a red car.
The suspects crashed into a tree and Actidor was arrested, police said. Two other suspects bailed out of the vehicle and ran into MacArthur Park.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and North Palm Beach police assisted in the search for the two suspects.
