RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - Many sermons on Sunday morning revolved around the "not guilty" verdict announced in the George Zimmerman case on Saturday night. In Riviera Beach, Mayor Thomas Masters told his congregation he was not happy with the acquittal.
He said he plans to team up with the Reverend Jesse Jackson and other leaders to ask for something to be done to seek change in the wake of the jury's verdict.
"It's a sad day in America for Trayvon Martin's family and for black and white and for the people who believe justice should be equal and it should be justice for all."
Masters says a Rally For Justice will be held on July 28, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Hilltop Baptist Church in Riviera Beach.
