RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. -- An early morning house fire in Riviera Beach has left a man and his sons without a home, authorities report.
Fire crews were called to 301 W. 14th St. at 4:53 a.m., according to dispatch records.
Riviera Beach Fire Rescue Capt. Dwight Hudson said the father woke and saw smoke and was able to get his two sons and their dog out of the home, while one of them dialed 911.
The fire appears to have started in a bedroom and was quickly contained. The cause of the fire is now under investigation, Hudson said.
