Driver killed in early morning Riviera Beach crash, identified by Florida Highway Patrol

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - The victim who died in a fatal early Sunday morning crash in Riviera Beach has been identified by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Sharon Marie Legaspi Tudela, 27, of Palm Beach Gardens Tudela was driving her Hyundai on Southbound I-95 at the exit ramp of Blue Heron Boulevard at 1:30 a.m., when she failed to turn. She continued to drive across the westbound lanes, onto the grass median and into the eastbound lanes, crashing into a semi driven by Juan L. Cabrera, 50, of Lehigh Acres. Tudela died at the scene.

The front of Tudela’s Hyundai hit the left middle side of Cabrera’s trailer. FHP did not release his condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
