Child nearly drowns in Riviera Beach

Doctors are treating a child who nearly drowned at Phil Foster Park Thursday afternoon.

Riviera Beach Fire Rescue crews were dispatched at approximately 12:38 p.m.  

They were able to revive the child, according to Rose Anne Brown, spokeswoman for the City of Riviera Beach.

The child was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center.

The youngster has not been identified.
