Boil water notice in Riviera Beach

A section of Riviera Beach is under a boil water notice.

Here is the news release provided by the city:

Portions of the City of Riviera Beach is under a boil water order for the next 72 hours.

Water service is interrupted for several residential and commercial customers, including National Village, Timber Pine, TD Bank and addresses from 1830 to 1920 West Blue Heron Boulevard.

The Riviera Beach Utility District advises that after water service is restored, residents and businesses in those areas should boil water for at least five minutes during the next three days before using or consuming.

The District temporarily shut down the water service this afternoon (Wednesday, March 7, 2012) to repair a water main break.
