RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. - There were tense moments for a group of boaters Saturday evening in Riviera Beach.
The boaters say a wave came from out of nowhere and knocked over their boat and flipped them into the water.
The incident happened near the 3200 block of Ocean Drive in Rivera Beach.
"At first I thought it was suspicious because it was empty there were no people, and somehow it must have rolled around and all we saw was a boat on the actual shore and we're like 'where's the people?' And then suddenly the men washed up and they were alive, and they were OK and they had their life jackets on," said witness Odilie Bagwell.
One of the boaters hurt his leg but was not hospitalized.
