It appears the Barrett-Jackson car auction last weekend was rather profitable.
Organizers of the "world's greatest collector car auctions" say the event generated more than $21 million in gross sales of rare, high-end collectible vehicles.
The auction drew more than 55,000 people to the South Florida Fairgrounds.
Among the notable cars that sold at this year's event: a 1968 Shelby GT-500 convertible that sold for 330,000 dollars.
