PALM BEACH, Fla. - A fabulous sight about one mile off of The Breakers hotel. Diver and photographer Christopher Doherty sent several spectacular images of a 14-to-15 foot juvenile whale shark.

CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS IN THE SLIDESHOW TO THE LEFT.

On Sunday, Doherty saw it swimming along The Breakers reef in about 60-feet of water while diving with Narcosis Dive Charters. Doherty says the whale shark was very curious, swimming around him for several minutes.

Whale sharks eat plankton and are harmless to divers. They are considered threatened, making a sighting even more fascinating.
