Three arrested after boat washes ashore in Palm Beach

PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Federal local and state authorities are investigating a boat that washed ashore in the town of Palm Beach overnight.

Border Patrol confirms three people have been arrested after their boat washed ashore south of the Lake Worth Pier near the 3200 block of South Ocean Boulevard.

Helicopters, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office boats and local police units were all involved with the investigation that started just after midnight.

No other information has been released at this time.
