PALM BEACH, Fla. - Border patrol agents right now are trying to determine whether a group of people who arrived on Palm Beach early Wednesday morning by boat are in the country illegally.

WPTV's Chopper 5 was first over the scene as agents took several people into custody.

A NewsChannel 5 viewer was looking out his window when the boat arrived and counted about 15 people come ashore, then quickly rounded up by Border Patrol agents.

Authorities have yet to confirm where the boat came from. The registration markings on the boat indicate it had been owned by a man with a Miami address, though it's unclear if the boat was still owned by that individual.
