PALM BEACH, Fla. - Michael Jordan, former NBA superstar, is set to tie the knot to Miami-born ex-model Yvette Prieto on Saturday afternoon at Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Gossip Extra reports. And the reception will reportedly follow at Jordan's home in the Bear's Club in Jupiter.
They expect about 2,000 guests for their big day.
Jordan wasn't giving much away recently when he spoke to Entertainment Tonight. He said he was more concerned about his privacy after being in the spotlight for so long. "I'm still in it a little bit, but I can control it to some degree -- to me my privacy is the most important thing to me right now."
Preparations were underway on Thursday afternoon at Jordan's home, Gossip Extra reported. There were more than 50 people setting up tents for the reception.
The couple filed for a marriage license in West Palm Beach back in March.
In late December WCNC reported that Jordan got engaged on Christmas.
According to the Huffington Post this will be Jordan's second marriage. He married Juanita Vanoy in September 1989, and they divorced in 2006. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
