WEST PALM BEACH —

A Delta flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Atlanta made an emergency landing at Palm Beach International Airport this morning when smoke was discovered in the cockpit.

Flight 418 landed safely with 190 people aboard at about 8:40 a.m., said Leonard Serratore, operations supervisor at the airport. What caused the smoke, which dissipated, wasn’t immediately available.

Passengers remained at the airport late this morning as arrangements were made to get them to Atlanta. Delta officials weren’t immediately available for comment.
