Two injured, one seriously, in all-terrain vehicle accident in Loxahatchee

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Two people were injured, one seriously, Friday evening after an all-terrain vehicle crashed with a tree in Loxahatchee.

When rescue crews arrived on scene around 6:55 p.m. they found the two riders lying on the ground, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The accident happened by Buck Ridge Trail and Deer Run Boulevard.

One of the riders was airlifted by Trauma Hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center. The other was taken to Palm West Hospital.
