A worker was injured during a fall at Palm Beach Aggregates Wednesday afternoon.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue says the worker fell down a conveyor belt chute, approximately 20 feet, at 20125 Southern Boulevard.
The 38-year-old man was making repairs on a grinder.
He was conscious and alert and transported by Trauma Hawk to St. Mary's Medical Center.
Fire rescue said the extent of the worker's injuries will be determined after X-rays are taken. However, they were not life threatening.
Workers at the Loxahatchee facility mine gravel and transport it for road projects.
