THE ACREAGE, Fla. --  The flood waters from Isaac continue to dry up in western Palm Beach County, but residents there still need help.

For those whose roads are still flooded, the Solid Waste Authority is providing two drop off sites where residents can get rid of trash.

These locations can be found off of Acreage Community Park off of 140th Avenue North and Temple Park off of Temple Boulevard. If you have any questions you can contact the Solid Waste Authority at (561) 697-2700.

These locations will be open through Wednesday, September 5.

School board officials will decide on Monday if seven schools will reopen Tuesday following the Labor Day holiday. The schools were still closed due to flood conditions as of last Friday.

The schools that were closed are Frontier, Pierce Hammock and Acreage Pines Elementary schools and Osceola Creek Middle School. District officials will also decide if Seminole Ridge High, Golden Grove Elementary and Western Pines Middle will open as well.

Mosquito control officials must decide when to spray next over the western communities. Employees sprayed over these neighborhoods late last week to help combat the pesky bugs. Residents are concerned the rains may bring more mosquitoes and fear the diseases they can spread.
