LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - An 18-month old child transported to Palms West Hospital Wednesday after being found in a Loxahatchee swimming pool was pronounced dead, according to a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesperson.

Paramedics responded to a home in the 17900 block of 31st Road North shortly before 7 p.m.

Fire Rescue spokesperson Capt. Don DeLucia said crews performed CPR.

No other details were immediately available.
