LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Charles Sears, 49, of Riviera Beach is identified as the victim who was crushed to death by a dump truck that rolled over on its side Friday afternoon.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said 38-year-old Luis Martin Perez, of Lake Worth was driving a recycling garbage truck traveling eastbound on 91st Place North, just before 1p.m. Friday, when he drifted to the south and drove off the shoulder of the roadway.

Perez tried to steer the truck back to the left, which caused it to turn on its side ejecting Sears.

Sears was pinned underneath the truck and died on scene as a result.

Perez did not sustain an injuries in the crash.
