MANALAPAN, Fla. -- Two police agencies and the U.S. Border Patrol are searching for at least one man seen running from a boat that came ashore early this morning.

The boat is located in the area where South Palm Beach and Manalapan connect near East Ocean Avenue.

Lantana dispatchers report the call came in at around 1:20 a.m. that a boat came ashore just south of Lantana's city limits.

"It was a small sized Boston Whaler. And 10 life jackets were later found in the area, but no subjects have been taken into custody," Lantana Police spokesman Sgt. Sean Scheller told the Palm Beach Post.

Lantana and Manalapan police officials said an investigation underway.
