Authorities: Man shot in arm during domestic dispute in suburban Lantana, PBSO searching for shooter

SUBURBAN LANTANA, Fla. -- A man was shot in the arm as he stood in his doorway confronted by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend in suburban Lantana, Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials report.

The man was taken to JFK Medical Center to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered to be life-threatening, Sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera said. The woman was grazed by a bullet, but treated and released at the scene, Barbera said.

Deputies continue to search for the shooter, a man in his 30s, she said.

Deputies were called to the shooting on Oleander Road in the San Castle neighborhood at 7:36 a.m.
