Nurse shark sighting up close near Lantana Beach

LANTANA, FL - An 8 foot nurse shark in 2 feet of water about 20 feet from shore off Lantana Beach has created some attention. It is nurse shark mating season through the end of July. The species is typically known for its non aggressive nature. Chances are more sighting will be common in shallow water.
