LANTANA, Fla. -
A Good Samaritan is stepping forward to help a Lantana woman pay the unlikely charges she faces as a result of being attacked and set on fire at a Boynton Beach gas station on Monday.

When Naomie Breton was released from Delray Medical Center, she was slapped with two bills from Zuccala Towing, with charges exceeding more than $500.

After seeing her story, a stranger decided to step in and help Breton with her bills.

"You're going to make me cry," said Breton as the woman showed up at her house to pay for the towing charges.

The Good Samaritan, who did not want to be identified, was shocked to hear that after all Breton went through and still is battling, that she owed a towing company hundreds of dollars and no one was helping foot the bill.

"Perfect stranger. She didn't know me, she didn't have to do what she did for me," said Breton.

Breton said the act of kindness from the stranger helps her financially but more importantly, she said it helps her mentally. Breton said the showing of generosity gives her the courage to take the next step in her recovery.

"Even if I'm scared to go out, there will be people. There's people out there who will help you get through a situation. You know Good Samaritans, they still do exist," said Breton.

Brought together by a near death experience, the two women said they now share a bond forged in the idea of paying it forward.

Breton must pay two bills because her name is still on the car of her estranged boyfriend. Breton worries if she does not get the car, it will hurt her credit.

The car will not be able to be picked up until Monday because Breton said the keys are logged at the Palm Beach County jail.
