Child riding a bicycle struck by car in suburban Lantana

SUBURBAN LANTANA, Fla. - A child riding a bicycle was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle Friday evening in suburban Lantana, according to Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The child was taken to Delray Medical Center, Borroto said.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Lantana Road and South Military Trail.
There is no other information immediately available.
