Authorities identify 2 people shot Saturday evening in Lake Worth

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Authorities are investigating a double shooting Saturday evening in the 1000 block of South C. Street in Lake Worth.

The victims, DiamondGarrett, and Jefty Joseph, both 18 years of age, where shot by multiple suspects as they arrived at the location around 9:45 p.m., said Teri Barbera, spokeswoman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. 

Garrett and Joseph fled the scene in a Honda Accord and minutes later crashed in the 700 block of South C. Street.  Both victims were flown to Delray Medical Center where they remain in critical condition, Barbera said.

Authorities have no information regarding the suspects, Barbera said.
