LAKE WORTH, Fla.-- Residents living near 14th and North D Street reported storm damage Sunday afternoon, shortly before a tornado watch was canceled by the National Weather Service.
Residents reported a tornado, but that has not been confirmed.
For a time downed tree limbs inhibited vehicles from passing.
Arriving fire crews found several trees down and power out in the area.
A section of a shed was damaged and a debris from a wind-tossed gazebo landed on a power line.
"We were watching the wind blow and all of a sudden this big, loud twirling noise happened and we watched in astonishment as this big wind came through here and everything was just way over, like we watched it go through here," resident Liz Kowalski said.
