A person was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries after being struck by a train in Jupiter, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A toddler was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after nearly drowning in a Lake Worth pool, said Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Rescue crews responded around 5:34 p.m. to reports of a drowning at 4669 Villas Santorini Drive. By the time they arrived the toddler had been pulled out of the pool, Borroto said.
The child was evaluated on scene and taken to JFK Medical Center for treatment, Borroto said.
His condition was not released.
