LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Two children and four adults were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Lake Worth Thursday evening, according to Capt. Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Two children and two adults were flown to Delray Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries, Borroto said.

Two other adults also were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

A first responder at the scene told NewsChannel 5 that one vehicle was traveling eastbound on 11th Avenue North and the other was southbound on N. Federal Highway when they crashed T-bone style at the intersection.

The accident happened around 6: 20 p.m.

There is no other information available at this time.
