LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A 3-year-old girl hit by a car while trying to visit an ice cream truck is still in the hospital, according to the girl's mother.
Sarai Balcazar is still in critical condition at the Delray Medical Center.
Her mother said Sarai has a fractured clavicle bone and a small amount of bleeding in her head. She is scheduled to be seen by a neurosurgeon on Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Rescue crews said they found Sarai lying in the roadway near an ice cream truck.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is not charging the driver, saying it was accident.
